Stay at Woodside was quite a learning experience in the realm of luxury versus value. The modern decor of my 'Juniper' room was arguably stylish. Though on the smaller side, it offered commendable bathroom facilities and an exceptionally comfortable bed. The warmth was a bit excessive; I would lean towards cool comfort, especially in Tokyo's damp November. The free welcome drink was a thoughtful touch, preparing me for the day ahead. The breakfast, inclusive of well-brewed peppermint and Earl Grey teas made with proper leaves, elevated the experience nicely. While the small size of the room made maneuverability challenging, it did come at an attractive price point of £170 for two nights. Perhaps investing a bit more could offer a room with additional space, which most travelers may find beneficial. Woodside presents a balanced proposition for those who prioritize a decent experience at a reasonable rate, as long as one is prepared for a snug fit.
